No! We know choosing a college often means exploring several options before making your final decision. You're welcome to get posted while you're still deciding.

Find your school on Collegemate and select Get Posted. Complete the submission form with your photos, bio, and information. Once submitted, your post will be added to the posting queue for your school's Instagram page.

No. Each submission must come directly from the student who wants to be featured. This helps us keep submissions accurate and protects our community.

Yes! You can edit your submission anytime before it's published. Use the edit link in your confirmation email or log in to your Collegemate profile to access your submission.

Yes. DM the college-specific Instagram account where your post was published and let our moderators know what you'd like updated.

DM the Instagram account where your post was published. For example, if you were posted on @arkansasclassof2031, send that account a DM requesting that your post be removed. Our moderators will take care of it for you.

Absolutely! If you'd like to be featured again, simply submit a new post here.

Yes! After submitting your post, check your confirmation email for available options to move your post up in the queue.

Start by completing the roommate matching form for your school. We compare your responses with other students in your incoming class to identify students whose lifestyles, habits, and roommate preferences may be compatible with yours.

Once your matches are ready, we'll send them directly to the email address you provided.

Collegemate uses a weighted matching algorithm that compares the preferences and living habits you provide in your roommate form. Different factors are weighted based on their importance to roommate compatibility and insights from our previous roommate matching.

We wait until enough students from your school have completed the roommate matching form to provide meaningful matches. Once your matches are available, we'll send them directly to your email.

Your roommate matches are sent directly to the email address you provided when completing the roommate matching form.

First, check your spam or junk folder. If you still can't find it, email support@thecollegemate.com and we'll help you access your matches.

Your Instagram username is required so your matches have a way to connect with you. Other information, such as Snapchat, email, phone number, and hometown, is optional.

There's no pressure to decide right away. Take some time to get to know each other and see if you might be a good fit.

Your Collegemate match is an introduction, so we recommend getting to know each other before deciding to live together.

No matching system can guarantee roommate compatibility. Collegemate is designed to introduce you to students who may be a good fit based on the preferences you provide.

We recommend talking with potential roommates and getting to know each other before making a final decision.

Log in to your Collegemate account and go to your profile to manage or cancel your Collegemate Premium subscription.

Standard Collegemate purchases are one-time payments unless otherwise stated at checkout. Collegemate Premium may be recurring depending on the subscription selected. Any recurring charge should be clearly displayed before purchase.

The information included in an Instagram post may be publicly visible on your college-specific Instagram page. Information submitted for roommate matching is used to provide your matches and help matched students connect.
