Sorority Rush Ready Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Sorority Rush Ready ("SRR," "we," "our," or "us"), a service operated by Collegemate LLC. This document describes our privacy practices specifically for Sorority Rush Ready—separate from our general Collegemate services, though both are offered by the same company.

Sorority Rush Ready provides digital products, guides, checklists, consultations, personalized deliverables, live and virtual events, and related services to help you prepare for sorority recruitment. To deliver those services, improve them over time, and operate our business, we collect and process information about you and how you use our platform.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the circumstances under which we may share, sell, license, or otherwise disclose it. It also describes your choices and rights, where applicable law provides them.

Please read this policy carefully. If you have questions, contact us using the information in Section 15.

2. Consent

By accessing or using Sorority Rush Ready—whether you browse our site, create an account, submit a form, purchase a product, attend an event, sign up for SMS or email, or otherwise interact with us—you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and consent to our collection, use, disclosure, and processing of your information as described here, subject to applicable law.

Your use of the service is also governed by our Terms of Service.

Where the law requires separate consent for certain activities (for example, marketing emails or promotional text messages), we will ask for that consent separately, and you may withdraw it in accordance with the instructions we provide or as required by law.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use our services.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information in three broad ways: (1) information you give us directly when you register, purchase, fill out forms, upload files, message us, or participate in consultations or events; (2) information collected automatically when you use our websites, apps, or linked tools (such as device and usage data); and (3) information we may receive from third parties, such as payment processors, analytics providers, advertising partners, or social platforms, in accordance with their policies and your settings.

The categories below are examples. Not every user will provide every type of information; what we collect depends on which products you use and how you interact with us.

You may have browser or device controls that limit some of these technologies; see Section 10 for more on choices.

5. How We Share and Disclose Information

We may share, disclose, sell, license, or otherwise make information available to third parties in the situations below. This list is not exhaustive of every technical subprocessors we use, but it describes the main categories of recipients and purposes.

Service Providers

We work with vendors that host our infrastructure, process payments, send email or SMS, provide customer support tools, run analytics, store files, or otherwise help us operate Sorority Rush Ready. These providers are authorized to use your information only as needed to perform services for us and are subject to contractual obligations where appropriate.

Staff and Contractors

Employees and contractors may access personal information when their job duties require it (for example, customer support, fulfillment, or content review). Access is limited to what is reasonably necessary.

Advertising and Data Partners

We may share information with advertising networks, social platforms, data brokers or enrichment providers, measurement partners, and similar third parties to deliver, measure, and optimize advertising and marketing, subject to applicable law and your choices where required.

Commercial Transactions

We may share information as part of sponsorships, co-marketing, licensing arrangements, affiliate relationships, or other agreements that generate revenue or strategic value for our business.

Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction. The successor entity may continue to use your information as described in this policy or as notified to you.

We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required or permitted by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Collegemate, our users, or others.

With Your Direction

We may share information when you ask us to—for example, if you request that we share feedback with a partner, or if you connect a third-party account and authorize data sharing.

De-identified Data

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual, without restriction to the extent permitted by law.

SMS Data

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share phone numbers, opt-in status, and related messaging data with service providers that help us deliver SMS, maintain compliance records, or support telecommunications—such as platform providers and carriers—solely as needed to provide messaging services.

6. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking

We and third-party partners may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising, understand how users arrive at and move through our services, and build audiences for marketing. These partners may set or read their own cookies or identifiers and may collect information about your activity on our sites and elsewhere over time.

These technologies may be used to:

  • Show you relevant ads on our properties or third-party sites and apps
  • Measure impressions, clicks, conversions, and return on ad spend
  • Attribute installs or purchases to marketing channels
  • Create or supplement audience lists for remarketing or lookalike modeling

Some partners may combine information they receive from us with data they already hold. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising—see Sections 10 and 11.

7. Third-Party Services and Platforms

Our services rely on third-party providers—for example, cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, SMS gateways, analytics, scheduling, and video conferencing. When you use Sorority Rush Ready, these providers may process personal information on our behalf under our instructions or their own terms, as applicable.

We may also link to websites, social platforms, or tools we do not control (such as Instagram, TikTok, or scheduling links). If you leave our site or interact with those services, their privacy policies—not this one—govern their collection and use of information. We encourage you to read their policies and adjust your privacy settings there.

8. Data Storage and Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Examples may include access controls for staff, encryption in transit where appropriate for our systems, and vendor security reviews. The specific measures evolve as technology and threats change.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You share information at your own risk to the extent inherent in using online services.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including:

  • Providing and improving our products and services
  • Maintaining business and financial records
  • Complying with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
  • Resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements

Retention periods vary by data type and context. For example, transaction records may be kept longer than transient server logs. When we no longer need information for these purposes, we will delete, de-identify, or aggregate it in accordance with our internal processes and applicable law.

If you request deletion, we will comply where required, subject to exceptions permitted by law (such as retaining certain records for legal compliance).

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and the nature of our relationship with you, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information. These rights are not absolute and may be limited by law.

  • Access: Request a copy of or information about the personal information we hold about you.

  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Portability: Request a copy of certain information in a portable format, where applicable.

  • Sale / sharing opt-out: Where applicable law defines "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising), you may have the right to opt out. We will honor verified requests and legally required signals where required.

To submit a request, use the contact information in Section 15. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf where permitted by law, with appropriate documentation.

11. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states—including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others that have enacted comprehensive privacy laws—may have additional rights regarding personal information, such as:

  • The right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected
  • The right to know the categories of sources from which information is collected
  • The business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing personal information
  • The categories of third parties with whom information is shared
  • The right to opt out of the sale of personal information or the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, where those terms apply under state law
  • The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights

State laws differ, and not every right applies in every situation. We will respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner not permitted by law, we will take steps to delete that information.

If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained any permission required from a parent or legal guardian to use our services and to submit information to us, including any information that may be used for marketing or advertising as described in this policy.

For users we know are under 18, we may apply additional limitations on certain uses of information—including certain advertising or data-sharing activities—where required by law.
